To enrich employees' cultural life and strengthen team collaboration, Jianyuan Pharmaceutical organized a two-day, one-night themed team-building retreat to Xiachuan Island, the "Pearl of the South China Sea."
From frolicking in the azure waves to gathering under the starlit sky, from collaborative interactions to leisurely exploration, employees released stress and built consensus amid the island scenery, creating unforgettable memories filled with joy and warmth.
Departure: Journeying to the Sea, Keeping a Mountain-Ocean Appointment
Bidding farewell to urban hustle and bustle, we set off toward the ocean! Cruising through vast stretches of blue waves, the sea breeze brushed our faces with its unique freshness. Distant islands loomed hazily on the horizon, and before long, we arrived at Xiachuan Island—hailed as a "tropical vacation paradise."
Before us stretched coconut groves and emerald seas. The slightly salty breeze carried an indescribable scent of seaweed. An authentic island feast awaited: fresh, succulent seafood and crisp, sweet seasonal vegetables—every bite a gift from the ocean.
Daytime: Chasing Waves and Joy, Unlocking Healing Island Moments
With gentle afternoon sunlight and perfect sea breezes, employees shed their reserve. Some plunged into the crystal-clear waters, swimming and splashing in refreshing delight. Others strolled along Wangfuzhou Beach and the Coconut Grove Lovers' Path, admiring the blue sky and sea through dancing palm shadows, capturing beautiful moments with every click of the camera.
As the sun set, it gilded the sea surface with tender golden edges. Employees wandered the beach in small groups, pausing to savor this "most intoxicating sunset." Evening glow mingled with shore lights; silhouettes complemented coconut groves and sandy beaches—every scene brimming with warmth and romance.
Nightfall: Gathering Around the Fire, Sharing a Warm Celebration
After dinner, everyone gathered around the bonfire. Classic songs rose with the gentle sea breeze, followed by rounds of interactive games: from默契-testing collaborative challenges to individual talent showcases, culminating in hand-in-hand dancing around the flames.
As the fire danced upward, distances quietly melted amid laughter and joy, and team cohesion quietly warmed through these tender interactions.
The Following Day: Collecting Memories, Returning with Warmth to Embark Anew
Early the next morning, while dawn was just breaking, some employees rose early to rush to the seaside, quietly awaiting the sunrise—witnessing together the breathtaking moment when the morning sun slowly lifted from the horizon, feeling nature's infinite charm.
During the morning's free time, some leisurely explored around the hotel, discovering the island's authentic character; others wandered through local alleys, tasting specialty snacks like coconut cakes and cuttlefish balls, savoring the fishing village's unique atmosphere of everyday life—adding more beautiful memories to this team-building journey.
Leisurely time slipped away quietly, and before we knew it, departure time arrived. After orderly checkout and enjoying a characteristic lunch, employees took the scenic shuttle to the pier, then boarded the ferry to leave the island, embarking on the return journey to Guangzhou. Thus concluded this joyful and warm Xiachuan Island themed team-building retreat.
